- Datalight Print Materials: Essential Software Components
- Datalight creates software components for developers. The key message developed by MKTX boiled down Datalight's offering to "essential software components." To these software elements, we choose visuals of elements in the environment: earth, air, water, and plant life and embedded words in the images relevant to software.
- To accompany these visuals, we added a new positioning themeline: "Discover the source of essential software." Of course, we wanted developers to discover Datalight. The scenes themselves offered a sense of pioneering discovery. But the software-relevant words also embedded in the visuals also offer a discovery experience.
- For flash memory software, for example, we used water, with the basic software package represented by a stream and the all-inclusive version represented by the world's greatest waterfall. Each visual was used during the printing of the products' datasheet, packaging, CDs, manual covers, and guides.
