- Joe Santana
MKTX creative director Joe Santana is a playful conceptualizer whose insights and creative leadership have assisted dozens of Northwest high technology and industrial enterprises. Joe's experience includes four years at Tektronix as its first creative director and corporate advertising manager, and creative director positions at ad agencies Santana&English, Ltd., The Technology Group/Advertising, EvansGroup, and B/E/S/T Advertising, where his creative campaigns helped sustain three years of 30% growth for Tek's $600 million color printer division prior to its purchase by Xerox.
- As a youth, Joe pursued a professional acting career which included touring the US with the national road company of "The King & I," starring Yul Brynner. Later, he operated a 5,000-acre cattle ranch in Modoc County, California, before moving to Portland to earn a B.A. in English from the University of Portland. There, he edited The Preface, UP's literary periodical. Thanks to studies in Latin and Greek, Joe is never at a loss for root words to name companies and products such as Serveron, GridHawk, LightRush, and Toccaré. Joe's current passion is restoring his 1940 Super 8 Packard convertible sedan.
